Heimskringla ("Orb of the World" is a term based on two old norse words which are found at the beginning of one of the manuscritps versions) or "the Old Norse Kings's Sagas", is a compilation of sagas written by Snorri Sturluson during the XIIIe century; narrating the history of Norwegian kings from ancient and mythological times, up until the last part of the XIIe century (ca. 1177).

Numbers, titles, footnotes, indexes, comments on the translation of certain words between parenthesis, passages from Snorri’s Separate Óláfs saga helga (not inside of the Heimskringla) in vol II, and forewords have been removed.
Windows of 120 words around each word being searched with a sample overlap rate of less than 50%. Only words retained are those with a number in the work greater than 5 and an over-representation coefficient in the sample greater than 1.1. The radius of the windows can be automatically reduced to respect the limit specified for the overlap rate.
